Do you want to live in a new country, learn a new language and at the same time gain international experience you can benefit of your whole life? Then the European Voluntary Service is exactly the right thing for you! Everything is free for you, you’ll get paid four your travel, room, food and get some pocketmoney.

The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is a EU-program which offers a unique opportunity to go abroad for up to one year. Voluntary service is an alternative way of learning that can help you to develop your cultural competence concurrent with a contribution in another country.

EVS is build on the partnership of three participants: Firstly it’s you, who chooses to become a volunteer. The second part is the organisation that takes the responsibility to help you on your way going abroad and when you come back. The third party is the organisation somewhere out there in Europe who receives you as a volunteers, arranges your apartment, work and language course.

How long will the project be?

You can work between 2-12 months as a volunteer. There are special short-term projects for those of you who want to work for a shorter period for several reasons.

What can I work with?

There are projects in so many different environments! You can work with homeless people, children or elderly people, or take part in restore an old bulding, building up a theatre group and so much more.You can have a look on the different projects in Europe by searching in the database.
